Gemma Collins’ odds slashed as she’s tipped to win Dancing On Ice

Jason Gardiner won’t be happy…

Gemma Collins may have fallen flat on her face during her routine on Sunday night’s episode of Dancing On Ice, but bookies think she could win despite her horror fall.

The TOWIE star was a rank outsider from the start of the competition, but now her odds have been slashed to be crowned queen of the rink.

Bookmakers now have her as 25/1 to be the outright winner and 14/1 to make it to the final three.

A Paddy Power spokesperson told Ok.co.uk: “Gemma Collins’ nosedive on Dancing On Ice last night has actually helped to improve her chances of winning the show.

“Viewers and bettors alike were won over despite her horror fall.”

The 37-year-old reality star fell in the final moments of her performance with professional partner Matt Evers and was rushed to a physio before returning to the rink for the vote results. However, some viewers thought her tumble was faked.

Gemma brushed aside her skating woes after the show by heading straight out for a curry and six large brandies with her boyfriend James Argent.

James ‘Arg’ Argent took to Instagram to share the pair tucking into a curry while Gemma sat with one leg raised with a bag of ice on it.

He said: “Celebratory curry for The GC!”

To which Gemma replied: “I’m on the brandy! I’ve had six large brandies!”

Elsewhere, the bookies odds on Wes Nelson re-coupling with his now ex girlfriend Megan Hanson-Barton were less likely. The odds on them getting back together before then end of the year is 8/1.

However, bookies think the former Love Island star is more likely to get together with his skating partner Vanessa Bauer with odds of 5/1 that they will be a couple before the end of February and 2/1 that they will be caught kissing.

The Paddy Power Spokesperson said: “We’re anticipating re-coupling ceremony between Wes and Vanessa, who are tipped to be caught snogging within the next few weeks.”
