Gemma Collins is one of the most controversial TV stars around, and it seems her new co-stars agree.
The reality star – who is a contestant on the new Dancing On Ice series – has spoken out about being “blocked” TWICE from the WhatsApp group, which includes everyone else appearing on this year’s show.
Speaking to The Mirror, Gemma, 37, explained: “They blocked me from the WhatsApp group twice. I just tell it how it is, so I’ve been barred from the group twice.”
Gemma, who is partnered with professional skater Matt Evers insisted that despite the awkwardness, there is “no [bleepy] atmosphere” backstage. Though she admitted she’s cried “a million and one times” since training began.
The reality veteran – who has had short-lived stints on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and Splash – says she doesn’t mind the drama, adding: “It’s all good TV, this is what it’s about, the GC’s all about the drama, isn’t she? I’m going to prove a lot of people wrong and that’s the bit I can’t wait for.”
Gemma, who has been a regular on The Only Way Is Essex since 2011, opened up about her Christmas over on Instagram.
Beside a selfie, she thanked her on/off boyfriend James ‘Arg’ Argent for his gift, writing: “I’ve had a magical Christmas 🎄 and I hope you have too ❤️💋❤️.
“Really spoilt by @real_arg with my beautiful necklace 🎄❤️🎄 hope you all spent quality time with your families and friends and REMEMBER it’s NOT OVER YET 🎄💋🎄 NEW YEAR is my favourite time of year 🎄❤️🎄.”
She also shocked fans over the festive period, when she blew viewers away singing Hey Big Spender on BBC show, All Together Now Celebrities.
After making it to the final three, her followers rushed to compliment Gemma, with one commenting: “Love this so much 😂😍 she’s everything.”
Another added: “omg I watched this last night, shook 👏🏼.”
A third gushed: “Amazing!! Is there anything you can’t do!!?? 👑👑👑.”
We can’t wait to see how Gemma does on DOI. Whether you love her or hate her – you have to admit she’s always good value on telly.
