Dancing On Ice bosses have major problem ahead of new series!

There may be puddles ahead...

The competition better not get too hot on this year’s Dancing On Ice as the rink is reportedly in danger of melting!

ITV bosses have had to spend thousands to ensure the ice in the studio in Bovington, Hertfordshire, remains frozen, according to The Sun.

A source told the paper: “They already have three chillers powered on generators to keep the ice cold, but the studio seems to be too warm to keep everything frozen.

“They have been installing insulation so the temperature doesn’t rise any more. It’s very hard to get it right — a few degrees out and puddles can begin to appear.”

The rink will need to be ready for when the show returns on Sunday, 6 January.

Many of the stars set to take part are already busy rehearsing with their professional partners.

The celeb line-up includes EastEnders’ Richard Blackwood, pop star Brian McFadden, Love Island’s Wes Nelson and Corrie’s Jane Danson.

Also taking part is TOWIE’s Gemma Collins, who has revealed she’s already suffered a painful tumble – but isn’t going to let it hold her back.

Her professional skating partner shared a tweet last week praising her determination.

He wrote: “***CONFESSIONAL THURSDAY*** @missgemcollins I am so proud of you. You are making incredible improvements on and off the ice this week. You are embracing life and seeing the bigger picture. I can’t wait for everybody to see you on @dancingonice.”

Gemma shared the message on her Instagram, replying: “Thank you @themattevers can’t move my arm from the fall earlier.Had a cry on the ice today but not giving up ! @dancingonice we carried on though #findyourinnerstrength.”

Meanwhile, Wes’ partner Vanessa Bauer – who won the last series with Jake Quickenden – has admitted she’s concerned he hasn’t got the time to practise enough.
