Bookies reveal favourite to win Dancing On Ice as full line-up is confirmed

The new series starts in January

Bookies have already predicted which celebrity could be crowned next year’s winner of Dancing On Ice.

The famous faces taking to the ice in January sparkled at last night’s launch as they posed on the white carpet in London.

Among the line-up is Love Island star Maura Higgins, TV presenter Joe Swash, Coronation Street actress Lisa George and comedian Michael Barrymore.

Other stars in the line-up include Perri Kiely, Caprice Bourret, Trisha Goddard, Kevin Kilbane, Lucrezia Millarini, Libby Clegg, Ian ‘H’ Watkins and Ben Hanlin.

The contestants oozed glitz and glamour as they posed together at the launch on Monday evening.

Maura, Lucrezia, Caprice, Trisha, Lisa and Libby wore gold outfits which were dripping in jewels.

Meanwhile, the male contestants looked very dapper in glittery suits and tuxedos.

With just a few weeks before the new series begins, bookies are already predicting who could take the crown.

Diversity dancer Perri is the current favourite to win followed by Maura and Joe.

This is the first series I have had on Dancing on Ice that there could be a showmance!

According to Oddschecker, odds on Perri winning have been placed at 2/1 followed by Maura at 6/1 and Joe at 7/1.

Bookmakers Betfair also has Perri at the top with odds at 15/8 for him to win.

They have placed Maura at 4/1 and Joe at 5/1.

Steps singer Ian is in fourth place, with odds at 7/1 for him to win.

Bookies Betfred have placed Perri’s odds at 2/1 and Maura’s at 5/1.

ITV newsreader Lucrezia is at the bottom with odds at 25/1 as well as Trisha.

The new series will feature its first same-sex couple as Ian is partnered up with professional skater Matt Evers.

During Tuesday morning’s Lorraine, the pair spoke about their partnership with Ian saying: “For me, it was important to have someone of the right gender for my sexuality. There is chemistry.”

Matt added: “This is the first series I have had on Dancing on Ice that there could be a showmance!”
