BGT viewers in hysterics over Dec Donnelly’s ‘rude’ remark

He wasn't even sure he was allowed to say it!

Dec Donnelly left Britain’s Got Talent viewers in fits of laughter last night over a comment he made towards a contestant.

During Tuesday night’s semi-final, the host spoke to musical comedian Siobhan Phillips after she won a spot in Sunday’s final alongside magic act 4MG.

Dec, 43, asked Siobhan what viewers and the judges could expect from her in the finale.

She joked that she’d be incorporating a pole into her next performance and they were “erecting it” right then and there.

Dec then said: “We look forward to your erection on Sunday. I think I can say that.”

The presenter appeared unsure if he was allowed to say that, as he asked: “Can I say that? Yeah, I can say that.”

His co-host Ant McPartlin quipped: “He said it!”

Viewers watching from home were amused by Dec’s comment and shared their thoughts on Twitter.

One person said: “Dec looking forward to Siobhans erection!” while another wrote: “Dec: ‘We look forward to your erection on Sunday! Can I say that?’ Ant: ‘You’ve already said it’ 😂😂😂 Love #BGT man!”

A third tweeted: “‘I’m looking forward to your erection’ bet you never thought you’d say that Dec.”

Siobhan made it through to the final after securing David Walliams’ pivotal tie-break vote.

She joins Flakefleet Primary School and Dave & Finn in the final.

“You don’t even understand what this means. You really don’t. Thank you so much. I’ve got to pull myself together,” she told Ant and Dec as she broke down in tears.

Her routine saw her singing about her toddler and telling jokes about her daily routine.
