BGT viewers in hysterics by Dec’s naughty slip of the tongue

Oops!

Britian’s Got Talent viewers were left in hysterics last night when Dec Donnelly accidentally let slip a naughty word live on air.

The beloved presenter, 42, was explaining to viewers the show was heading to a commercial break.

However, instead of saying the programme was going for a “quick break”, Dec accidentally said a word that rhymes with “quick” and starts with the letters ‘pr’…

Reading the autocue, Dec told viewers: “While the votes are being counted and verified, we’re going to take a very [expletive] break,” before quickly correcting his mistake saying, “quick break.”

Despite realising his amusing error, Dec carried on like the professional he is.

He said: “When we come back we’ll find out who has won a place in the Britain’s Got Talent final 2018.”

Viewers found Dec’s slip of the tongue moment hilarious and shared their thoughts on Twitter.

One person wrote: “Did Dec just accidentally say [expletive] before correcting it to “quick break?”

“Did Dec just say we’re going for a very [expletive] break instead of quick? LOL,” another quipped.

This week is the live semi-finals of the show and two acts are sent through to Sunday night’s final every night.

Dec has been hosting the live shows solo while his presenting partner Ant McPartlin continues to take time away from the spotlight following a drink-drive incident in March.

On Wednesday night, viewers praised Dec for delivering a “brilliant start to the show” following his extravagant opening performance.

The Geordie favourite showcased his singing talents as he performed high kicks with jazz hands.

Surrounding by dancers, Dec cheered throughout his performance and high-fived members of the audience.
