BGT viewers complain about sound issues

Gremlins in the system!

Hot on the heels of the Spice Girls’ much-talked-about sound issues, last night’s Britain’s Got Talent appeared to have been hit by the same problems.

Viewers took to Twitter to complain that the judges sounded like “daleks” as they gave feedback on dance group Lil Icons.

As it was, their act wasn’t without controversy as viewers thought one of the child stars dropped the C-bomb live on air. She actually shouted: “Cut!”

However, when it came to the judges’ critique of the performance, some technical issues came to light.

Viewers asked: “Are they having some sound problems?”

While another blasted: “Whoever set the sound up for this needs to get hearing aids. Can’t hear a [expletive] thing.”

David Walliams was first to offer his feedback, except viewers complained about the “dodgy sound” as the star’s microphone cut in and out.

Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell and Alesha Dixon were also hit by the problems, with viewers saying “it sounds like the judges are talking into tin cans” and wondering why they “sound like daleks”.

“Running out of time when speaking to the judges, sound problems, hosts who cannot properly speak. It’ll be a brilliant show [crying with laughter emoji],” one viewer said.

Another wasn’t so polite and blasted: “Sort the bloody sound out guys!”

A third asked: “Why have we had such dodgy sound this week?”

While another quipped: “@BGT have you got the @spicegirls doing sound for you tonight?”
