Britain’s Got Talent viewers baffled as they spot something ‘odd’ about Amanda Holden’s outfit

And not because it was revealing

Glamorous Amanda Holden’s choice of outfit on Britain’s Got Talent last night was the talk of Twitter again – but for once, not because it was revealing.

The talent show judge, 48, opted for a long-sleeved silver and black Julien Macdonald dress that featured a high neck, unlike her previous low-cut daring designs that have sparked a slew of Ofcom complaints.

Bizarrely, the TV star appeared to have an M&S sticker attached to the design, and naturally eagle-eyed viewers at home flocked to Twitter after spotting it.

“Why on earth has Amanda got an M&S colleague badge on?” one asked.

Another joked, “Amanda Holden works at M&S, pass it on.”

While a third said, “I see Amanda is wearing an M&S badge,” along with lots of confused face emojis.

The label appeared during the results segment of the show, before later disappearing. It’s still unclear how it got there.

A handful of other BGT fans also couldn’t resist commenting on Amanda’s more demure choice of outfit, with one writing, “Amanda looking very reserved tonight!”

While a second shared, “Well at least Amanda is dressed tonight.”

It comes after she responded to the controversy surrounding her sartorial choices for the live shows.

Referring to her spider web-inspired dress by Nicolas Jebran, which received nine Ofcom complaints, Amanda said: “My [bleep] seem to become the show’s biggest talking point every year.”

Speaking to The Sun, the judge said that her outfits had been positively received by her husband of ten years Chris Hughes.

She said despite “plenty of complaints apparently”, there had been “none from home”.

Claiming she didn’t think there was anything revealing about the dress, Amanda revealed she had worn nipple covers for the first time because “it’s a family show”.

The star went on to explain that her kids – 13-year-old Alexa and Hollie, seven – usually play with the nipple covers at home, throwing them against the kitchen cabinets before watching as they slide down the walls.

The BGT live final taking place on ITV on Sunday at 7.30pm.
