B&M is selling a Vicks VapoRub-style candle for only 59p

Perfect for cough and cold season

Bargain chain B&M Home Store is selling a candle that takes its inspiration from Vicks VapoRub.

The candle, which retails for just 59p, is designed to clear the airwaves during cough and cold season.

What’s more, its appearance in stores has caught shoppers’ attention.

An eagle-eyed shopper spotted the bargain, not made by Vicks, and shared the find to the Facebook group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.

She told the group: “I don’t know if I’m the only one who didn’t know this was a thing.

“Like Vicks Vapour but as a candle – 59p at B&M.

Perfect for this time of year with all the coughs and colds going about.

The post quickly gained over 2,000 and 1,500 from fellow bargain hunters.

One said: “Both my children have had a horrible cold these last few weeks.

“I have had the candle lit for about an hour before they went to bed and shut the door.

“Then when I put them to bed, blow it out and the vapour smell still fills the room through the night.”
