Fans of This Morning got a surprise today when they tuned into to see John Barrowman standing in for Phillip Schofield.
The I’m A Celebrity campmate was replacing Phil for Monday’s (January 21) episode of the show, and spent much of it shouting: “FABULOUS” to try to beat those ‘Blue Monday’ blues.

And viewers loved his injection of enthusiasm into the show, with some even calling for him to replace Phillip permanently.
“Can we just please have John Barrowman as a permanent replacement for Phillip Schofield on ThisMorning?” said one.
Another added: “Sorry Phil, I think Holly has got another TV husband.”
“I think Holly and John are FAB U LOUS together! Sorry Phil but you need to move over,” said another.

John was announced as Phil’s replacement last week with the usual presenter taking a day off.
Of his new role, John said: “I am delighted to co-host This Morning, it’s such an iconic show and to be reunited with Holly – a familiar face from my jungle family – is just fabulous. I’m really looking forward to it.”
Phil will be back on our screens from tomorrow (Tuesday January 22).
