After nine years of marriage, you'd think Ruth Langsford would be immune to Eamonn Holmes' sillier side - but apparently not.
On Tuesday's episode of This Morning, the veteran TV presenter was close to tears laughing at her husband's jokes about erectile dysfunction pills.
The husband and wife team were interviewing money saving expert, Martin Lewis about scam advertising online, when Eamonn, 59, admitted he had unwittingly become the face of erectile medication.
He told Ruth, 59, and Martin: "In my case, mine was brought to my attention by a doctor, who was very angry with me lending my name to this... But the thing that gets to me is why choose me? Why should I be the face of erectile dysfunction?"
His wife bent over laughing, as Eamonn showed viewers the advert in question and read out the headline, which read: "Over two decades of happy marriage thanks to Eamonn Holmes' erectile dysfunction pills."
Still talking about it as Ruth got hysterical, the Northern Irish star added: "Look how happy that woman looks! Another satisfied customer. A lot of you look and you wonder why Ruth comes to work with a smile on her face...
Why would you look at me and think, 'He'll need a pill'?
"But why would you look at me and think, 'He'll need a pill'?"
Ruth - who has recently been off work - tried to pull herself together, saying: "We shouldn't be laughing... stop! We shouldn't be making fun of this, it's very serious!"
But Eamonn kept going with the joke, bringing it up again a minute later and then saying sweetly to his wife: "Isn't it a good job I make you laugh, darling?" Still giggling, she replied: "23 years you've been making me laugh! People say what keeps you two together and..." as Eamonn interrupted her to declare: "Pills! That's what keeps us together!"
Viewers loved the giggly pair, with one commenting: "@thismorning So nice to see Ruth laughing and enjoying life and Eamonn is just a joy to watch."
Another tweeted: "Ruth Langsford couldn't stop laughing today."
A third wrote: "Omg Ruth and Eamon are just couple goals. Still making each other laugh 😂❤️ #ThisMorning."
These two being silly will never stop being entertaining. We're glad to hear they don't need any pills to keep smiling together after all this time...
