Holly Willoughby in fits of giggles after making ‘rude’ outburst on This Morning

Holly Willoughby was left in giggles after shouting “willy” out loud on today’s This Morning.

The presenter and co-star Phillip Schofield went head-to-head in a game of Blockbusters as they interviewed Dara O’Briain, who is the new host of the iconic quiz show on Comedy Central.

Sitting in a mock studio, Phil and Holly answered questions against the clock, and when Holly chose ‘W’, she blurted out a rude word.

Dara asked her: “What W is the first name of Mr Wonka.”

Buzzing in, Holly shouted: “Willy!” before bursting into giggles.

As Phil chuckled, Dara replied: “Time for the classic This Morning fit of giggles now, if you could pause that for a second.”

Managing to compose herself, Holly went on to beat Phil, 56, and she was definitely thrilled.

She ran from behind her desk and twirled around before pumping the air.

Dara told her: “[The contestants] never do that, they literally never do that!”

Holly exclaimed: “I’ve won Blockbusters!”

The mum-of-three was then presented with a prize, which was a tea cosy knitted to look like her.

She said: “I can’t tell whether that’s the best or the worst thing I’ve ever seen. I mean, it’s amazing!”

Looking at his own tea cosy, Phil joked: “Thank God I didn’t win!”

Dara said: “It’s like a tiny grey haired man.”

Phil then told Dara he could keep the gift.

On Monday’s show, Holly got a telling off during a Spring Savings segment.

After Martin Lewis chastised the British public for not being savvy with their savings, Holly quizzed the This Morning regular on ISAs and the best places to save your cash.

Trying to make it easier for viewers to find out where to go for more information, Holly asked: “If you are that person, where’s a place you can look online to find out all those sorts of things, just anywhere?”

Explaining that her question would get him in trouble with TV regulators Ofcom, a stunned Martin laughed nervously at the grilling.

He replied: “You’ve asked me a question which Ofcom regulations say I’m not allowed to answer on air. I’m not getting myself in trouble.”
