Strictly fans SLAM Sunday Brunch presenter for apparently revealing tonight’s result

Not AGAIN!

Fans of Strictly Come Dancing raced to social media to slam Sunday Brunch guest, Michaela Strachan, as she seemingly revealed who is sent home tonight.

The TV presenter was a guest on the Channel 4 show today and was discussing last night’s spook-tacular Strictly when she made the ultimate telly faux pas.

When asked by contestant Simon Rimmer’s co-host on the show, Tim Lovejoy, how she thought Si had got on last night, she said: “First of all, I’m not talking to you Simon because I’ve been trying to get on Strictly Come Dancing for 10 years.

“They won’t have me! Then there you are!”

She added: “So, I’m going to be a little bit judgemental and say that last night’s performance – you put your heart and soul into it – you looked like you were playing a part in Sweeney Todd quite frankly.

“You were very stiff, there was still a lot of room for improvement.”

Fellow guest, actor and writer Mark Gakiss, then commented on Simon reaching week six in the dancing show.

Michaela laughed: “I’m amazed you got to week six – oh, did I say that out loud? That was meant to be in my head.”

While Michaela could just have been voicing her shock at Simon getting that far in the competition, many viewers felt she’d let slip that Simon would be voted off tonight.

They took to Twitter to complain.

One eagle-eyed viewer noticed: “”@SundayBrunchC4 has Michaela Strachan revealed a result? Cue stilted smiles of presenters and other guests in studio”.

Another said: “michaela might have just given away that Simon left last night then on Strictly #SundayBrunch” while a third tweeted: “@SundayBrunchC4 so Michaela just confirmed Simon is out of #Strictly.”

While a third added: “@SundayBrunchC4 tell Michaela Strachan she’s probably just ruined tonight’s #bbcstrictly results show by her comments. Stop her now”

A fourth tweeted: “So we know now Simon is voted out of Strictly because Michaela Strachan just told him ‘you DID your best’. Not surprising really.”

The Sunday night results show is filmed after the Saturday night show which means there have been occasional slip ups in the past that have ruined the surprise for some viewers.

Earlier this series, Debbie McGee let slip that Reverend Richard Coles was leaving the show, long before the programme went out.

She made the gaffe during an appearance on Radio Berkshire. Realising her massive blunder, Debbie told an impromptu cover up story to hide her mistake.

She said: “”He fell over at one point and had to be treated and everything else…

“So now we’re waiting to see what’s going to happen in the results show tonight.”
