Stacey Solomon has been brutally honest when it comes to her emotions since the birth of baby Rex eight weeks ago.
Now the Loose Women star has opened up about the ‘mum guilt’ she’s feeling in an emotional post on social media.

In a lengthy message, Stacey wrote: “I feel like I shouldn’t really have these feelings because I’m nearly 8 weeks in and I am so incredibly lucky to have amazing children, a wonderful partner, loves loving, caring, & supportive family and I’m almost a bit embarrassed to say…
“That truth be told, I’m Having a bit of a gut wrenching day. One of those days that physically hurts your tummy. I have absolutely no idea why. Mum guilt has kicked in full swing.
“Nothing in particular triggers the feeling. It’s just there. Tried to keep busy and organise the hell out of the house which has helped for short moments (but also felt guilty about it). So making a conscious effort to try to accept it and let the feelings come and go.”
Stacey, 29, went onto say that she was posting a happy picture of her and Rex to help remind her that, “these feelings WILL pass and every day will be different.”

Many of Stacey’s 1.9million followers immediately took to the social media site to leave messages of support.
One follower wrote: “Sending so much love! You’re doing a fab job! Xxx”
Another wrote: “Your an inspiration having a day like that myself with my 10 week old who just had injections, thank you for making me feel like I’m not alone.”
Finally, another follower reassured: “They will pass! Take the rough with the smooth you are doing great.”

Stacey’s emotional post comes only a day after she reunited with her Loose Women co-stars alongside baby son Rex.
Her co-panellist Nadia Sawalha shared a sweet photo of herself holding Rex as she, Kaye Adams, Saira Khan and Stacey smiled for the camera.
