Loose Women reveals truth behind Katie Price’s absence from show

There's nothing suspicious going on!

Katie Price has been absent from Loose Women for several months now, sparking speculation as to whether she will ever come back.

Well, fans of the Pricey can breathe easy, as ITV has confirmed she WILL return to the show in due course.

A rep for the show told Digital Spy that Katie, 39, is simply flat out working on other projects, but will be back on Loose Women when her schedule clears.

The spokesperson said: “Katie is currently hectic on her filming schedule for her reality show.

“She remains a regular face on Loose Women, and when filming wraps, Katie will return to her usual Loose Women slot times.”

A source added to The Mirror: “It’s purely a case of diary clashes.

“It just means there are limited days she could go on, and then on the days Loose Women have a spot for her, she’s got other commitments.”

That rubbishes speculation it could be ‘diva’ behaviour behind the scenes keeping Katie off air.

Although, fans of Loose Women will already know that’s rubbish!

In an interview with OK! earlier this month, her fellow panellists Nadia Sawalha and Kaye Adams both said everyone on the team loves working with Katie.

Nadia, 53, said: “We’re all really fond of Katie Price – she’s never shown one bit of prima donna behaviour and has brought a whole extra audience to us.”

She also quipped there’s another reason for her to adore Katie!

“Her diamond rings are so gorgeous,” gushed Nadia. “She lets me put them on my fingers every time she comes in.”

Kaye Adams, 55, added: “Everyone has such a pre-formed perception of who she is and what she stands for, but we see a very different person – a very sweet person.”

Katie joined the Loose Women panel in 2015, after previous guest spots over the years.

The second series of her reality show, Katie Price: My Crazy Life, is scheduled to air on Quest Red this year.

It will follow Katie as she campaigns in parliament for stricter regulations on trolling, cares for her terminally ill mum, and navigates the waters of her marriage to husband Kieran Hayler, who cheated on her last year.

She said: “There’s always drama in the Pricey household and I think this year might well be the craziest yet so I had to do another series of My Crazy Life with Quest Red!

“Taking on Parliament, helping my mum, keeping the kids in check, and of course figuring out what is going on with Kieran – nothing is off limits and it will all be in the new show.”
