Loose Women’s Stacey Solomon reveals she checks Joe Swash’s phone

Despite snooping, she said she wouldn't know if he was cheating...

Stacey Solomon shocked Loose Women fans today, when she revealed she “openly” checks her partner Joe Swash’s phone.

The 29-year-old panellist, who is pregnant with her first child with Joe, admitted her surprising behaviour during a segment entitled: “Is it okay to snoop on your partner?”

Singer Stacey admitted that she DOES regularly look at Joe’s phone and goes into his social media accounts.

Something that some viewers watching from home thought was worrying…

Stacey revealed: “I would openly go on Joe’s phone. I wouldn’t go through his messages and he would go on mine and I wouldn’t think anything of it.

“I go through his photos, I go on his Instagram see what he’s done and think: ‘Oh you’ve had a nice day.’ I mean, I know there are more interesting things to read.”

However, the singer – who has two sons from previous relationships – also admitted she probably wouldn’t even notice if Joe was cheating.

She joked: “I would probably stumble across a message from a lover and think ‘oh that’s lovely… this Susan sounds nice!'”

Meanwhile, fellow panellist Christine Lampard said she doesn’t look at husband Frank’s phone because she “can’t be bothered”, but said that if she had “a niggling doubt”, she’d be “straight on”.

She said: “We know each other’s passcodes and our phones are out all the time. I couldn’t be bothered, I genuinely wouldn’t think of looking because I don’t feel insecure about anything.

‘But if I had a tiny little niggling doubt, I’d be straight on, no bother… If I had to, I would.”

Fans watching from home expressed concern for anyone who felt the need to check their partner’s phone.

One said: “If you’re snooping through your partner’s phone, there are bigger trust issues #loosewomen.”

Another added: “Personally, I’ve never felt the need to go through my partner’s phone. #LooseWomen.”

A third wrote: “I think in order to feel the need to do this to your partner, there’s either an issue in your relationship, or the problem could be your own insecurities. I feel that we should all have our own personal space and this should be respected mutually.”

“No it’s not okay,” insisted another. “If you feel you have to snoop on your partner’s phone, then there are clearly trust issues that need to be addressed in my opinion.”

One disgruntled viewer was simply annoyed that the subject was being discussed again, tweeting: “Didn’t they already discuss the whole going through someone’s phone last week? And the week before that? They really have run out of things to talk about haven’t they? #LooseWomen.”
