Fans beg for Linda Robson’s return as she enjoys Christmas lunch with Loose Women co-stars

She hasn't been on since January

Fans of TV’s Linda Robson have begged the presenter to return to Loose Women.

The Birds of a Feather actress, 61, took to Instagram to share a snap of herself with her Loose Women co-stars as they enjoyed a Christmas lunch together.

In the pic, posted on Friday (13.12.19), Linda is seen smiling alongside panellists including Stacey Solomon, Christine Lampard, Janet Street Porter, Jane Moore, Andrea McLean, Kaye Adams and others.

In the comments, Linda’s followers rushed to plead with her to return to the programme.

One said: “Come back, Linda… you’re really missed.”

Another wrote: “Please come back on Loose Women. You are really missed x.”

Hope you will come back one day.

A third said: “Hopefully we’ll see you in the new year on Loose Women and perhaps Birds will make a return, lots of love.”

Someone else asked: “Can you come back? You are the best loose woman.”

“Miss you on Loose Women, Linda. Hope you will come back one day,” said a fifth.

Others noticed that Loose Women regular Ruth Langsford – who presents ITV’s This Morning on Fridays with her husband and co-host Eamonn Holmes – appeared to be missing from the lunch.

One asked, “Where is Ruth?!” and another pointed out, “Ruth’s not there”.

Linda addressed her return to the programme back in October, when she admitted she can’t wait for the green room gossip and “little chats” with her co-hosts.

She told the Mirror: “I’m coming back to Loose Women. I had a little break, we had a few problems in the family, but I’m fine.

“[I can’t wait for] the gossip in the green room and our little chats. That’s my favourite part – things you never see on air.”

Producers on the show are expecting to welcome the star back to the panel in 2020.

A source told the newspaper: “She is so well loved by viewers and the Loose Women that her place on the panel is always available. It would be great to have her back. She’s a lovely woman who will always be part of the ITV family.”

The 61-year-old actress hasn’t been seen on Loose Women since January, amid reports police and medics were called to her home twice in two weeks.
