Susanna Reid admits she’s fallen off the wagon on Good Morning Britain

She was on holiday, after all!

Susanna Reid has recently come back from a rather long holiday, and it sounds like she had quite a bit of fun while away.

She revealed on Good Morning Britain this morning that she had a drink with Judge Rinder whilst on holiday in Ibiza.

This comes after Susanna swore off alcohol before the summer holidays, yet it seems as though she couldn’t resist a glass of sherry.

She had previously managed to lose one and a half stone after quitting alcohol, but she just couldn’t stop herself while on holiday.

She said: “I did have a couple of glasses out in Ibiza, you couldn’t go to Ibiza and not just have a small glass of sherry to round off a nice meal.”

Her co-host, Piers Morgan, said: “Sherry, sherry? How old are you?”

She had previously revealed that her GP had told her that her face could end up being scarred for life if she kept on drinking alcohol after blood vessels started to burst causing red blemishes on her skin.

She told The Sunday Times Magazine: “I gave up because a doctor told me to. I was concerned because my skin was flushed, I kept getting flare-ups and blemishes, and they were leaving red scars.

“I’d tried all manner of creams and washes, but I knew deep down that what was happening to my skin was probably a manifestation of what I was putting into my body.”

She went on to admit that she loved drinking and that many of her most cherished memories were fuelled by alcohol.

Giving up the drink has not only helped her to lose weight, but she’s also seen her skin improve and she no longer suffers from blemishes or flare-ups.

However, she did admit that she was worried about being perceived as “boring” by her friends since ditching the drink.
