Kate Garraway has been mocked by Good Morning viewers for her choice of outfit for Friday’s show.
The presenter, 51, wore a streaky brown and white dress, which many people watching from home said resembled a piece of bacon.
Kate’s co-stars Ben Shephard and Charlotte Hawkins also poked fun at her look.
While discussing fashion trends, Kate told her co-stars: “What you two don’t realise is, I’ve always been ahead of my time.”
Charlotte replied: “Well, talking about that, a lot of people have been getting in touch about your outfit today. They say it looks like a slice of bacon.”
Kate said: “Oh,” before Ben joked: “Is that why all those dogs were slathering so much? There’s a lot of drool in the studio,” seemingly referring to a previous segment in which dog behaviourist Nigel Reed appeared on the show alongside three pooches.
After bursting into laughter, Kate hit back: “Butcher chic. Watch this space. [It will be] all over the catwalks… maybe.”
The show’s official Twitter page was also quick to poke fun at Kate’s look.
They wrote: “Last week it was Kwik-Fit chic, today @kategarraway is rocking the ‘streaky bacon’ look. What do you reckon she should go for next week?”
