Ben Shephard was left gobsmacked as Kate Garraway revealed her very messy bedroom on Friday’s Good Morning Britain.
Kate, 51, showed the state of her room after revealing she’s obsessed with new Netflix series, Tidying Up with Marie Kondo.
But Ben was horrified and branded Kate “filth” after she shared a video of her room showing the floor covered in clothes, clutter and shoes.

Ben squealed: “For heavens sake Kate! How do you live like that? You’re like the hoarder next door… just have a tidy room and a tidy mind Kate.”
Kate went on to reveal her mum was disgusted by the mess when she found a furry grape that exploded with mould.
She said: “My mum went into my bedroom and touched what she thought was a peach. It was actually a grape with so much fur around it that when she touched it it exploded, throwing spores everywhere.”
The presenter added: “She is going to be absolutely furious that I said that out loud, because that was a really bad moment for us.”
At this point, Ben was left shuddering and even pulled out a bottle of antibacterial gel.
He quipped: “Kate you are filth. Can we get dettol? I feel dirty sitting next to you.”
He then swapped places with co-star Charlotte Hawkins.
Viewers watching from home were left amused by Kate’s admission, however, some people were also grossed out.
One person said: “I’m with Ben…. tidy house, tidy mind!!!” while another wrote: “Kate your bedroom is a disgrace, your drawers don’t have to be organised but you can still be clean n tidy, poor Ben looks terrified.”
