GMB viewers threaten to 'turn off' following presenter Richard Arnold's gags

Do early morning innuendoes turn you off?

Disgusted breakfast TV viewers have threatened to switch off Good Morning Britain following a slew of innuendoes from presenter Richard Arnold during today's episode of the ITV show.

The cheeky showbiz correspondent was up and at it early this morning, leaving his co-presenters in stitches as he delivered his usual arch repartee with a smirk and a wink.

But not everybody at home agreed Richard's playful way with words was amusing - with some suggesting on social media that his "disgusting" banter did not go well with their cornflakes.

One viewer even claimed Richard's silly comment about 'slipping in' the occasional saucy remark was inappropriate because children may be watching.

"Airing this on national TV when kids are watching is disgusting," they complained.

Glad to turn off.

"I don't find it amusing at all and makes me sick."

Another person suggested they had been moved to stop watching TV entirely because of what Richard had said.

"Horrible man with his sarcastic comments, glad to turn off," they tweeted.

Another unimpressed viewer reacted: "It’s quite tiresome actually."

And another sarcastically added: "Hilarious', as always."

Despite having his critics, others made it clear they love having Richard pop up on their TV screens and make them chuckle.

"Never stop @RichardAArnold, your innuendoes brighten my day and have done for years," one fan reacted.

"I love him and his innuendos. It’s what TV needs instead of all this negativity," agreed another.

A third person insisted: "I hope Richard never stops his banter, very tongue in cheek but never offensive."
