With his toned physique and pearly-white teeth, Jonny Mitchell must’ve racked up loads of new followers on social media when he appeared on this year’s Love Island.
But now it seems that he’s doing his level best to get rid of them again.
The 26-year-old Essex lad posted a crude joke about his ex, Chyna Ellis, on his Instagram Stories account on Thursday.
But the move has backfired massively, and following a storm of abuse from fans, he’s been forced to take it down again.
Jonny spent Thursday evening in London’s Chinatown with his Love Island mate Mike Thalassitis, and used the opportunity to take a pot shot at his former squeeze.
Alongside a picture of the tourist attraction, he mocked: “The second china i’ve been through this m0nth.”
The cruel jibe was followed by a ‘crying with laughter’ emoji.

But while Jonny might’ve thought he was being funny, others didn’t share his point of view.
And almost immediately, the knives were out among the social-media fraternity.
“Your Instagram story is disgusting how low will you stoop,” wrote one commentator.
Another ranted: “Hes disgusting! Needs taken down a peg or 2! Listen mate your not all that, your work will eventually dry up, so dnt [expletive] on plp!”
And a third labelled Jonny “absolutely vile” for posting the joke.
The business director clearly took the criticisms on board, because the story had soon been deleted from his page.

Jonny and fashion stylist Chyna, 22, enjoyed a fling after appearing together on this year’s Love Island.
But the romance came crashing to a halt when Jonny dumped the beauty live on air during the Love Island Reunion show.
She later flew into a rage after allegations emerged about his sex life, saying: “Hours after he’d dumped me on live TV, he went off to have a threesome.
“It’s disgusting behaviour and it shows his true colours. I’ve found it so disturbing that he can be so disrespectful towards women.”
Judging by this episode, it sounds like Chyna’s not the only one.
