Viewers flock to support Rylan as he confesses to throwing coffee cups at people

Something really gets his goat - and everyone else's

Watch out if you’re ever crossing a road and you don’t say thank you to the driver for letting you go.

Especially if that driver happens to be a certain Mr Rylan Clark-Neal.

The 28-year-old told fellow This Morning hosts, Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, that one of his biggest bug bears was people that don’t say thank you when they’re on a zebra crossing.

As he went about telling the duo about his funny annoyance he then admitted to a bit of naughtiness,

‘I’m telling you now, I would never suggest that anybody intimidate people or anything like that. I’ve thrown coffee cups at people at zebra crossings before.’

Looking shocked, Holly asked the presenter, ‘Not with coffee in though?’ to which Rylan responded: ‘I’m not going to confirm nor deny that rumour.’

And a flummoxed looking Philip asked, “All because they didn’t say thank you?”

Eeeek! You have been warned!

Phil and Holly even got him to act out what he meant as they sat behind a pretend car and Rylan showed them how people ignore him.

The main reason he disliked it so much was, according to him, because even a duck managed to thank him.

Wait a minute? A duck?

He said: ‘My mum and father in law lived in a little village with a duck pond and I slowed down at a zebra crossing because there was ducks in the road. No word of a lie, as this duck was crossing, it lifted its wing.’

As Philip and Holly laughed, Rylan said, ‘If a duck can say thank you, I’m sure Sally, on her iPhone, with her briefcase and her high heels can at least go (puts hand up to say thanks)… it’s rude.’

A whopping 83% of This Morning viewers who took part in their poll also agreed.

So did fans on Twitter.

Definitely making sure we give a big palm up to whoever is driving when we next cross the road ✋
