This Morning viewers think TVs are broken after strange change to the usual opening

Er, what's going on?

If you tuned into This Morning on Wednesday you may have thought there was something wrong with your television…

Why? Well, the usual jaunty This Morning theme song had been replaced by something very different!

Baffled fans took to social media in surprise after the usual theme music was given a new twist thanks to a live organist.

There was a good reason for the change to normal proceedings, though!

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield explained they were interviewing a group of nuns who have opened the doors of their convent to a group of party-loving women in the hopes of making them calm their lifestyles.

And the show certainly went all out for the occasion!

As well as the new theme music, the studio was totally transformed into the inside of a church, with Holly and Phil standing at the pulpit, while the nuns and fellow guests Blue took seats in the pews.

There’s a sight you never thought you’d see!

The unusual intro received a mixed reaction on social media – as everything does!

One fan tweeted: “Best music intro ever, better than the usual tune!”

However, another less impressed viewer said: “This Morning getting off to a great start with that [bleep] music.”

A third laughed: “Hahaha my dog is freaking out at the organ playing.”

Even Holly and Phillip found it all a bit bizarre, with Phil predicting it was going to be one of those shows!

Adding to the whole ‘what are we watching?!’ scenario was the fact This Morning opened with Holly swigging on a bottle of Blue Nun.

Why? Because she got ‘confused’ about the fact the show were interviewing a group of nuns and the boy band Blue.

Haha, Holly, we see what you did there!

Bottoms up!
