Holly Willoughby’s fashion choices are usually spot-on.
In her regular Instagram updates, fans beg her to reveal where she picked up a certain top, pair of trousers or a jacket.
But the only question viewers had about Hol’s choice today was whether she got dressed in the dark!
The 36-year-old confused viewers in a red dress created by Rixo London – yours for just £265 – which she had paired with a severe-looking white polo neck.
Fans immediately took to Twitter to question the sartorial choice, with one fan writing: “Fashion fail on Holly.”
Another said: “Sorry Holly, worst outfit you have ever worn,” while a third asked: “Why’s Holly in a neck brace?”

And one particularly biting commenter wrote: “I’m guessing Trinny dressed Holly today….” referring to the often questionable choices Trinny Woodall dresses people in when she’s on as a fashion expert.
Many of Holly’s fans defended her outfit on Instagram, though, saying it was a fabulous choice.
One wrote: “You look stunning a ray of sunshine on the tv”.
While another complimented the dress, saying: “I love this outfit you look amazing x”.
Phil didn’t seem to notice anything untoward about his co-host’s outfit of choice, but then he never really does – typical bloke!
Holly’s choice of clothing frequently gets her rave reviews, and are a large part of the reason she boasts more than three million followers in Instagram.
Usually, each day before This Morning begins, she’ll upload a photo to let fans know what she’s wearing and where it all came from – often featuring high street chains.
For the new series of Dancing on Ice, Holly’s also been wowing fans with her super-glam looks.
Last Sunday featured a slinky black dress with a plunging neck and a daring slit in the leg.

It’s a good thing this is Holly’s last work day of the week, handing off the This Morning reigns to Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford on Fridays.
That’s an extra day to hit the shops to make sure Monday’s outfit is absolutely on point, without a neck brace in sight!
