Ferne McCann in talks for This Morning return amid pregnancy

She gave a very tearful interview back in May

She’s been absent from TV screens for weeks while she focuses on her first pregnancy.

But fan favourite Ferne McCann is reportedly in talks to make a big return to This Morning soon so she can give everyone an update on how her pregnancy has been progressing.

A source told The Sun that former I’m A Celebrity star Ferne has some other work commitments to finish up right now, but after they’re done, she’ll be back on the sofa chatting to Holly and Phil.

“She’ll continue to talk about her pregnancy and give viewers an update on how she’s doing,” said the insider.

“Viewers are keen to know the latest with her, given the audience it attracts.”

Ferne, 27, is expecting her first child in November but it’s not been the easiest of pregnancies for the ex TOWIE star.

The baby’s dad is Ferne’s ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins, who was charged in connection to an acid attack at a London club back in April.

Arthur, 25, has denied being involved in the attack.

The last time Ferne appeared on This Morning to talk about her pregnancy, she ended up in tears as she admitted it had been a “very stressful” time and she was just trying to focus on her unborn child.

“It has been such a stressful, surreal situation to be in, but I’m actually feeling good, feeling positive,” she said.

“Because I’m pregnant I think that’s given me strength and hope to get through this.

“This isn’t how I imagined my first pregnancy to be, but it’s not about me. This is about the baby.

“My main concern and priority is the baby.”

Ferne said she’d been suffering a string of symptoms including “crazy headaches” and nausea, adding: “I don’t know why they call it morning sickness as I’ve been sick morning, noon and night.”

She also became emotional as she spoke about the love and support she’d received from the public.

“At first I thought, ‘Is the public going to judge me or have an opinion?’ which would be natural feelings to have,” she said.

“But I didn’t have to worry because the public have been so amazing and so supportive and that’s what got me through the bad times.

“Reading through the private messages on Instagram has been touching and so humbling,” she added.

“Everyone’s words have been so supportive. People’s kindness has been lovely.”

Ferne added: “The future for me… I’m not going to say it’s going to be easy, but I’m excited.

“I just want to be the best possible mum I can be.”

Since that interview, Ferne has been off screen, focusing on her pregnancy and getting ready for the new arrival.

She’s been keeping fans updated with her progress via social media and taking time away from the spotlight, relaxing abroad with her bump in the sunshine.

Ferne’s currently on a sunny break in Majorca, where she’s been looking all kinds of amazing in a range of bikinis.

She’s kept active while pregnant, working out in the gym as normal but altering her routines to account for her pregnancy.

In a post to Instagram last month, she explained: “Now I’m in my 3rd trimester and my bump is growing big, I am definitely feeling it a lot more!

“However I still like to keep active and believe if you’re motivated and get yourself to the gym to work out it will produce more energy!

“I have loved keeping active whilst being pregnant!

“It’s good for the mind, body and soul!”

Go Ferne!
