This Morning viewers got thrust into the festive spirit on Monday as the show debuted its Christmas titles and newly-decorated studio.
And it’s fair to say there was no expense spared!
For the first time ever, the programme has decorated the outside of its building on London’s South Bank, making it resemble a giant Christmas parcel.

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield opened Monday’s episode arriving at work on a sleigh. Yes, really!
Showing off the outside of their London studio, they urged anybody wandering down South Bank to stop for a selfie – particularly at night when it’s all lit up.
It’s the first year ever they’ve ever decorated the outside of Studio 8, with Holly and Phil revealing it’s because the show will be moving premises temporarily in the New Year.
Renovation work will be carried out on ITV’s South Bank studios in 2018, meaning daytime shows including This Morning will be housed elsewhere for a period of time.
Meanwhile, Holly and Phil revealed they hadn’t even been allowed into the studio ahead of the show starting, which meant they were clapping eyes on the decorations at the same time as viewers.
And, just wow!
This Morning’s studio has been decorated with 14 incredible Christmas trees, 15 sleighs, garlands, wrapped presents, wreathes, holly and more.
There’s even a real fire! Next to the fake window, as Phil pointed out!
And log-shaped cushions which actually look like proper fire logs… let’s hope they don’t accidentally end up in the real fire…
The festive opening titles also debuted, replacing the usual credits with lots of snow, a festive jingle and plenty of Christmas cheer.
Meanwhile, Holly dressed for the occasion as well, slipping into a festive, sparkling shirt in honour of the studio’s Christmas makeover.
Posing on Instagram in her pretty outfit, she told fans: “Christmas has arrived in the @thismorning studio… let’s sparkle our way to the 25th.”
Sadly for any lovers of Holly’s festive look, the skirt from Anthropologie a) will set you back £128 and b) is totally sold out! (Which is pretty standard for anything Holly wears…)
