Strictly’s Ruth Langsford drops disturbing sex confession about hubby Eamonn Holmes

Our ears!

Strictly Come Dancing star Ruth Langsford has opened up about the impact the show is having on her marriage to hubby Eamonn Holmes.

During Monday’s Loose Women Ruth, 57, revealed she’s struggling to find time to spend with her hubby as her gruelling training schedule is taking up most of her time.

And she dropped a shocking confession about her and Eamonn’s sex life.

Asking Ruth about how she juggles her marriage and the fast pace of Strictly, Coleen Nolan said: “It must be difficult because all your time is focused now on Strictly.

“Do you, on your day off on Sundays go actually now we’ve got to make time for each other and go on little dates?”

To which Ruth replied: “No time for dating. No, we do actually go out for dinner.

“I have to say, [Eamonn is] so supportive.

“He books Sunday roast dinner, he has a gin and tonic, a bowl of ice for my feet. So he’s been very supportive.”

Going on to drop the bombshell she added: “There’s not much time for love, if you know what I mean.”

Coleen then joked: “He’s had to come to me for that. On the phone all the time…”

“Not much time for that,” Ruth said, as she laughed off Coleen’s comments.

But it seems Irish presenter Eamonn is struggling without his wife being around.

So much so he’s bought a cardboard cut out of Ruth to keep him company.

Sharing a snap on Instagram showing him sharing a cuppa with cardboard Ruth, Eamonn said: “Another week for the Real Ruth on #strictly …. but this one eases the loneliness and I have my memories.”

Ruth was delighted at the weekend after making it through another week with professional dancing partner Anton Du Beke after their performance was awarded 20 points.

During the first week Ruth was left devastated after ending up at the bottom of the leader board after judge Craig Revel Horwood branded her routine a “stumble and grab dance”.

Of course Eamonn was quick to defend his wife against the judges’ harsh criticism as well as thousands of fans who were cheering her on.

Eamonn uploaded a snap of him and Ruth on the Strictly set alongside a very sweet message.

“She did her best but she couldn’t beat her nerves,” he said.

“I love her so much. Time to bring her home time. #Strictly.”

But this week the Loose Women star managed to impress the judges as she performed an energetic Charleston routine.

And she even had an injury just hours before, meaning she missed valuable rehearsal time.

Speaking to her fans on Instagram Ruth explained: “Just before I went down (to the rehearsal studio) I was in my dressing room and I thought, ‘I’ll just walk through my steps and familiarise myself and make sure I know the routine,’ and I kicked my leg out, and I’ve pulled a hamstring.

First injury……aghhhh! @bbcstrictly Sorry we had to miss rehearsal @mrantondubeke #hamstring #rest

“So I had to go to the physio, she wouldn’t let me do the rehearsal this afternoon, she’s told me I’ve got to ice it.”

On Saturday the famous faces and their partners will compete in a Movie Special.
