Strictly’s Mollie King reveals how she’ll NEVER make Lorraine mistake again

The Saturdays star made a rather big error on Wednesday morning

Strictly’s AJ Pritchard has given Mollie King a telling off after she slept through THREE alarms and arrived late for a live TV interview.

The sheepish Saturdays star was noticeably absent from the sofa when ITV’s Lorraine started on Wednesday morning – leaving AJ to face the cameras alone.

Mollie eventually rocked up at the end of the show, after making a mad dash across town.

Now, given she slept through three alarms, AJ decided there was only one thing to be done: change Mollie’s alarm!

After the rather disastrous morning, Mollie took to Instagram to explain what happened and reveal how AJ has ensured she’ll never make the same mistake again!

Mollie told fans: “So, guys, as you might know, we were on Lorraine this morning and I overslept by an hour and a half so we’re trying to change my alarm.”

AJ then played Mollie’s current alarm – a pretty, tinkling melody.

He was NOT impressed, telling her: “What is that? That’s not an alarm!”

AJ then changed her alarm to a stonking loud foghorn-esque sound, saying it meant “wake up now or else you’ll be late and AJ will kill you”.

“That’s not a nice thing to wake up to,” argued Mollie.

Maybe not, but it does the job, right?

AJ was interviewed solo at the start of Lorraine, joking Mollie was AWOL because she was hard at work in the training studio.

Lorraine, however, revealed the real reason for Mollie’s absence: “She slept in!”

“I may have been working her too hard this week,” admitted AJ.

“Poor wee love,” said Lorraine. “She’s so exhausted she slept through three alarms and people banging on the door. She’s on her way, God love her, doing her make-up in the car in the dark.”

Mollie appeared on camera with AJ towards the end of the show, apologisingly profusely for her time-keeping.

“I’m so sorry, Lorraine, I completely slept through everything!” said Mollie.

She woke up just 45 minutes before going on air, managing to get from bed to the studio in less than an hour.

Mollie and AJ will dance the Charleston on this weekend’s Saturday show, live from Blackpool.

“It’s so much fun and has so much energy,” enthused Mollie.

“I think that’s probably why I overslept this morning! It’s just exhausting but amazing. It’s so personality driven. We’re doing it to one of my favourite songs of all time, Little Mix’s wings, which is such a feel good song, a real girl anthem.”

Good luck!
