Strictly Come Dancing star Debbie McGee appeared on the This Morning sofa today alongside partner Giovanni Pernice and once again addressed rumours of a romance between them.
After talking about her Strictly experience, Phil Schofield brought up the fact that rumours of a passionate affair are following the dance partners everywhere they go.

Giovanni responded first, saying: “It is really funny.
“The thing is when you’re on the show you spend so much time with your dance partner, now we have respect and we love each other as a person, but when we see in the paper we’re having a love affair, both of us just laugh.”
Phil wasn’t giving up though and said: “But then once again, the viewers say ‘she’s not wearing her wedding ring’…”
“I’ve never, ever worn jewellery at a rehearsal,” Debbie replied. “Never because, especially doing these rehearsals, if Giovanni grabs my hand, I haven’t got big stones [in my ring] but I can scratch him or pull a finger off.”
Tenacious as ever, Phil picked up on Giovanni’s own jewellery – his earrings: “What about yours then?”
“That’s fine! I can’t dance without those!” Giovanni joked.
Debbie also told how difficult she’s finding things this week after the drama of being in the dance off alongside Jonnie Peacock and Oti Mabuse.
“It’s fantastic and I’m having an incredible time, it’s not an easy time, it’s really tough.
“We really struggled on Monday – maybe because I’m older you get really tired. I have pulled a muscle in my back and I’m working through the pain.
“I was completely exhausted with Blackpool and the emotion of being in the dance off.”
But she went on to say the experience overall was “incredible” and “better than I’d ever expected.”

Holly Willoughby also went a bit giggly schoolgirl as she shared a spin with Giovanni.
After Phil asked the pro dancer if he’d take Holly for a whirl around the studio, he was only too happy to oblige.
A giggly Holly got up and found herself happily waltzing in Giovanni’s arms.
She declared that she might fall in love with him and that she felt like she’d just had a Christmas present!
A dead cert for Strictly next year, we reckon!
