Strictly Come Dancing’s Joe McFadden DROPS partner Katya Jones but the judges ignore it

It was an epic fail for the actor

Joe McFadden dropped partner Katya Jones at the end of his Strictly Come Dancing performance on Saturday night – and only one of the judges seemed to notice.

Viewers flocked to social media after Katya was dropped at the end of the pair’s energetic Salsa in a painful-looking moment.

Judge Craig Revel Horwood called the couple out on the drop, saying: “You lost balance at the end which was unfortunate.”

However while the judges seemed to downplay the blunder, viewers weren’t so forgiving.

Another added: “did he mean to drop her!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????????? #Strictly #SCD #StrictlyComeDancing #StrictlySpoiler #StrictlyComeDancing”

Meanwhile, Alexandra Burke and Gorka performed the Quickstep to The Gold Diggers’ Song from 42nd Street, Debbie McGee and Giovanni danced the Samba to a Spice Girls medley, while Gemma Atkinson and Alijaz did the American Smooth to Petula Clark’s Downtown.

Mollie King and AJ danced the Charleston to Little Mix’s hit Wings, Susan Calman and partner Kevin performed their Paso Doble to Strictly Ballroom, and Davood and Nadiya did the same dance to Bond theme Live and Let Die by Paul McCartney.
