Shocking racism plot lined up for Coronation Street

But who's the victim?

There’s a shocking new storyline being lined up for Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) who will face some vile, racist abuse from new clients that she and Aidan Connor have landed.

Alya was less than happy when Aidan went to meet Justin and Dale Parker alone after they insisted they didn’t want Alya joining them.

She was fuming because she assumed they were sexist and didn’t think a woman’s place was in a serious business meeting.

When she finally comes face to face with the men Alya soon realises it’s not her gender they disapprove of.

The horrible pair make barbed comments and ‘jokes’ about her religion throughout the meeting, leaving the designer shaken.

With their business resting on this deal, will Alya stand up to the bigots or keep quiet for the sake of her and Aidan’s futures?

And if she does stand her ground, will Aidan have her back?

Aidan and Alya teamed up as business partners following the robbery of Underworld, which was orchestrated by Aidan’s scorned ex, Eva Price, and arch-enemy, Adam Barlow.

So far their efforts to get their own knicker business off the ground haven’t been hugely successful.

First of all, Aidan almost blew the whole thing before it even began when he made a move on Alya – who is currently dating Luke Britton.

Next a meeting with the bank to get some capital behind them was thwarted by Adam and his business partner, Todd Grimshaw, when they revealed that Aidan was currently homeless.

Then a van Aidan borrowed from Tyrone, which contained all their materials, was torched by Todd.

Next week sees Aidan reach out to his sister, Carla Connor, for her financial help in getting the factory back on its feet.

Will she be willing to help bail him out or will Aidan’s run of bad luck continue?
