Halloween came early for Richard Arnold after he was pranked on today’s Good Morning Britain.
The showbiz presenter jumped out of his skin and squealed in terror as his co-stars colluded in a trick to scare him out of his wits.
Richard was joining Ben Shephard and Ranvir Singh to discuss a story on cocktails for dogs (yes, really) when the shock of his life took place.
He was happily sipping his drink when someone in a bear costume suddenly leapt out of a box behind Ben and launched themselves at him.
The presenter jumped out of his seat, waving his hands in fear and screaming in shock as the moment occurred on live TV.
As the costumed trickser then ran off the set, Richard’s co-hosts couldn’t stop laughing.
Regaining his composure, he exclaimed: “I am 48 in three weeks!”
An amused Ben couldn’t get enough of Richard’s priceless reaction and kept asking for slow motion replays of his face.

Ranvir said she could understand why Richard had been so surprised, as she had been in on the joke but also jumped when it actually happened.
Viewers thought the whole thing was hilarious.
The trick was payback after Richard pulled a similar stunt on the child stars of Stranger Things when he interviewed them.
As they answered his questions, someone in a costume jumped out at them to see how they would react.
However, Richard later tweeted to say it wasn’t over!
