Rebekah Vardy will be taking part in many more Bushtucker Trials during her time on I’m A Celebrity if her ex-husband has anything to do with it.
Mark Godden, 38, told The Mirror he’s been voting as much as possible, and encouraging his friends and family to do the same, as he wants to see her “suffer”.
So far, he’s had his wish as Rebekah had to do the dreaded eating trial this week, during which she gagged as she forced down bugs, fermented eggs and vomit fruit so her fellow campmates could have a good meal.
It seems Mark still holds a grudge against his ex and is using her appearance on the reality show for some “payback time” as he puts it.
He said she treated him badly when they were together and slept with Peter Andre while they were still married.
He said: “I want her to go through hell. We are all voting for her to get to the trials because we want her to suffer. We all want her to scream a bit.”
Rebekah, now 34 and happily married to England footballer Jamie Vardy, was 18 when she met Mark, then 21.
She’d been a victim of sexual abuse as a young teen that led her to leave home aged 16.
She met Mark when she was working as a barmaid in Witney, Oxon, and the pair quickly tied the knot after a whirlwind romance.
Mark said they didn’t have a formal engagement but agreed to marry after Rebekah saw a stunning engagement ring and demanded: “I want that. Buy it for me!”

After a wedding in Mexico, he said their relationship crumbled after Rebekah got a job in promotions and was often away working and rubbing shoulders with celebrities as she helped with VIP events.
Mark, a production supervisor at an electronics company, said it was clear his wife, who had expensive taste and used to “spend all his money”, didn’t want to be with him anymore.
“She was trying to break into modelling and she looks for fellas who try to enhance her lifestyle,” he said.
After they separated, she slept with Peter Andre and sold her story to the papers. He said he “got such a ribbing at work” as they were still technically married at the time even though they were no longer together.
He said they’ve had no contact since their divorce in 2003 but he “can’t help hearing about her”, especially now she’s on TV every evening.
Mark is now engaged and has two children while Rebekah moved on to marry again for a second time before meeting Jamie.
That relationship also failed as she accused her second husband of being abusive.
She eventually met the footballer who she describes as “love of her life” in January 2014 and they went on to have two children together.
Rebekah also had two children from previous relationships while Jamie already had a daughter and she loves that they are now one big, happy family.
Speaking of her first two marriages on Loose Women earlier this year, she said: “I know marrying three times makes me sound like Zsa Zsa Gabor, but after a difficult childhood I made some stupid mistakes and went out with some real-life snakes!”
She once admitted of Mark: “I felt like I should marry him but quickly realised I didn’t love him.”
A representative for the WAG said many claims Mark has made about Rebekah “aren’t accurate”.
They denied she has ever been unfaithful adding: “She was a very damaged teenager when she met Mark. He proposed when she was still a teenager and she agreed because she felt like it was the right thing to do as he and his family had been so good to her.

“She quickly realised she shouldn’t have married him and they agreed to separate. It was kinder to separate than to stay in a loveless marriage.”
They added that she wishes him well, although he clearly doesn’t feel the same now he’s furiously voting to see her do more terrifying trials!
