Love Island’s Dani and Jack ‘offered their own reality show’

Cameras will apparently follow their lives once they leave the villa

Love Island stars Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham have reportedly been offered their own reality show once they leave the villa.

According to The Sun, ITV2 bosses are hoping to film a three-part series showing what the couple get up to once they come face-to-face with the real world.

Producers are apparently keen to capture the moment Jack meets Dani’s famous dad, EastEnders actor Danny Dyer.

A source said: “There is a big money offer on the table for the couple and cameras want to start filming them as soon as they leave the villa.

“There is a huge interest in capturing the moment that Jack finally meets Danny in person, something he’s been nervous about since day one. Danny will give him a hard time and plenty of banter so it would be TV gold.

“The mini series would show their life in the real world and the obstacles they face, like heightened fame, attention from fans and where they’re going to live.”

Dani and Jack have been firm favourites on the show since the beginning and viewers have watched their romance blossom over the last eight weeks.

As well as officially becoming boyfriend and girlfriend, the couple also recently agreed to move in together once they leave the villa.

And on Sunday night’s episode the couple took another big step in their relationship – meeting each other’s loved ones.

Pen salesman Jack finally met Danny and Dani’s mum Joanne Mas.

21-year-old Dani enjoyed a video call with her parents after being reunited with her nan and granddad face-to-face.

Danny told Jack: “Listen, I approve of you mate. I think you’re absolutely bang on. I weren’t at first, I thought ‘oh here we go.

“Look at him, look at him. Look at his little face. Do you know what Jack, listen. Proper geezer, gotta say. I’ll tell you what I love about you, I love the fact you got a little Derby.

“You got so much charisma. Takes a brave man to bowl into that gaff, them all ‘abbed up’, proper geezer. Honestly mate, we’re so over the moon.”

Understandably, Jack, 26, was over the moon at getting the seal of approval, and later took trip to the Beach Hut to express his relief.

“It’s nerve wracking. The fact that he approves of me and he likes me, I just thought ‘that’s brilliant’. Dani must feel so relieved,” he said.

The Love Island finale airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
