Piers Morgan offers I’m A Celebrity fave a job on Good Morning Britain

His bosses might like to have a think about this

Piers Morgan appeared to forget he has bosses ‘upstairs’ at ITV to answer to (again) as he took it upon himself to offer someone a presenting job while they were live on air.

The anchor and his co-host Susanna Reid were talking to freshly crowned I’m A Celebrity winner Georgia Toffolo live from Australia.

They asked what she hoped to do now she was out and she replied, “What you two do!”

Quick as a flash Piers said that he could make that happen, and suggested it was within his gift to mix up the presenting panel whenever he fancied.

Toff reportedly received the smallest pay cheque out of all the campmates on this year’s show… £13,000. Still a lovely nest egg for most of us, when you consider it was three weeks’ work.

But the 23-year-old is set to cash in on her new-found national treasure status, with projected earnings of £5million.

The blonde beauty was perky as ever when she spoke to Piers and Susanna via satellite from the grounds of the Versace hotel.

Toff has been friends with Piers’ son Spencer for seven years and Piers joked that he was looking forward to them growing closer (now she’s about to become a multi-millionaire!).

“I’ve just chatted to Spencer, and he’s very, very happy now to progress things,” he dead-panned.

“I’ve already got your mother’s approval for an arranged relationship, and it’s nothing to do with the fact that you’re about to be a multi-millionairess.”

Toff – who broke up with her boyfriend James Middleton just before she went in the jungle – seemed excited by the idea of meeting up with her old pal.

She beamed: “Your son and I have had some of the most belting nights out of anyone I know.

“It was lovely to have a detox, but I’ve missed the dancefloor, I’m not going to lie.”

Toff was quick to point out that she’s yet to make a fortune from her I’m A Celebrity triumph – and it seems to have left her a little short of readies.

She told Piers and Susanna: “I haven’t had that pay day yet. The first thing I said when I came out is: ‘Mum, I haven’t paid my rent.’

As for what she’ll be do next, that remains to be seen. But it sounds like a presenting job on Good Morning Britain isn’t out of the question!
