Piers Morgan dares boss to sack him after swearing during Love Island rant

He's at it again!

It’s no secret that Piers Morgan isn’t exactly the biggest fan of Love Island.

The brand new series of the reality show kicked off last night and Piers, 53, went on an epic rant during Tuesday’s Good Morning Britain about the hit show.

The presenter even apologised to viewers after repeatedly calling the show a naughty word, which rhymes with “rap” and starts with the letter ‘c’.

As highlights were shown of last night’s episode of the series, Piers said: “I’d do a brilliant commentary on this.

“Anyway that’s enough of that [bleep]…” he added, with the bleep sound heard on air indicating the star had sworn.

Piers’ fellow co-presenters were left shocked by his slip of the tongue and gasped.

He continued:  “I would like to apologise to anyone who is watching at 6.03am, which is nobody, who may have been offended by me calling Love Island [bleep] (he mouthed the swear word).”

Susanna Reid cut in: “Complaints to Ofcom already!”

Piers hit back: “Because after all, the last thing it is, is [bleep],” as he mouthed the naughty word again.

“In fact it’s the best television in the history of ITV, and not a load of [bleep] (he then mouths the word again).

“I would like to apologise again to anyone who may be reading my lips, who is a lip reader, who can see that I’m saying [bleep] (he mouths the word for a final time).”

Susanna told the presenter: “I hate to point this out to you but you’ve literally chosen this morning to inspire a complaint to Ofcom and to trash one of ITV’s biggest programmes.”

Piers replied: “Brilliant how your cowardly little mind works. ‘Oh the boss is in I better be on best behaviour’.”

He then teased his boss, saying: “I think the opposite. Come on son, fire me. Take away your rock star and leave everyone with these three. For me, it’s not a difficult choice.”

Viewers were left in hysterics over Piers’ antics with one person branding it the “funniest opening” ever on GMB.

One person tweeted: “Don’t think I’ve ever actually belly laughed at 6am!!! Quality.”

On Monday night, 10 new hopefuls headed into the Love Island villa in the hope of finding love this summer.

Viewers saw the islanders couple up at the start of the show, however, when they were just starting to get cosy, host Caroline Flack revealed that there was another boy yet to come into the villa.

Adam Collard then came into the villa and he definitely caught the eyes of the ladies.

Caroline explained that in order to stay in the villa, Adam would need to get his graft on and couple up with one of the girls.
