We have all-new celebrities, a brand new judge and a whole new studio for the revamped series of Dancing On Ice, which starts next year.
And now returning host Phillip Schofield has confirmed yet another major change to the beloved show.
Although, to be honest, it’s not that much of a surprise…
With skating legends Torvill and Dean now taking a seat behind the judges’ table, they will no longer be on hand to help choreograph the routines and train the celebrity dancers.

Which means extra pressure on the pro skaters to ensure they a) create a flawless and technically sparkling routine and b) whip their celeb partner into shape.
Phillip, 57, told DigitalSpy: “The big changes are that the skating professionals are doing the choreography for their routines with the celebrities – not Jayne [Torvill] and Chris [Dean].
“So that will be some added pressure on them.”
Eeek. Indeed!
We wonder if contestants will still have to perform some classic Torvill & Dean moves, though?
And will the skating sensations return to the ice for the Bolero?
C’mon, they have to, surely?!
The twelve professional skaters for the rebooted Dancing On Ice were unveiled on This Morning this week and include fan favourites like Matt Evers and Sylvain Longchambon.
Also returning are Brianne Delcourt and Dan Whiston, while eight new skaters will join the show.
Phillip first broke the news about the skaters having to do their own choreography on Thursday’s This Morning, while he and Dancing On Ice co-host Holly Willoughby interviewed the 2018 pro line-up.
He told them: “This whole thing is new. The only thing that stays the same is the fact there’s a big slab of ice in the middle.
“You have to choreography now – not Jayne and Christopher – each one of you has the responsibility.”
Dan replied: “There’s a lot of pressure there but in a way, it’s exciting for us too. It’s a challenge. Maybe ask us again in a few weeks! But we are all excited again about getting cracking now and ready to go.”
Matt added: “The creative on this year’s series is out of this world!”
The new-look Dancing On Ice returns to ITV in 2018, four years after being taken off air.
It originally ran from 2006 until 2014 with Holly and Phil hosting the first six series together, and Phil being joined by Christine Lampard for the latter three series.
According to reports, the revamped show will be bigger and better than ever, having moved from its previous home of Elstree Studios to Bovingdon Airfield in Hertfordshire.
The Sun claims two HUGE ice rinks will be built there, with a source saying: “There will be one training rink and one performance rink and it’ll look glitzier than ever.
“Bovingdon is a great space and its filming history helps give the show some extra sparkle.”
The celebrity line-up for the new Dancing On Ice has been drip fed over the last couple of weeks and includes a slew of household names.
Coronation Street fans are in for a treat with TWO of the soap’s favourites signed up to take part: Brooke Vincent (Sophie Webster) and Antony Cotton (Sean Tully).
Also taking part are Hollyoaks’ Steph Waring, Great British Bake Off winner Candice Brown, I’m A Celebrity’s Jake Quickenden, Olympian Perri Shakes-Drayton and rugby star Max Evans.
TV presenter Donna Air, cricketer Monty Panesar, Love Island winner Kem Cetinay, Bucks Fizz star Cheryl Baker and GMB weatherman Alex Beresford are also confirmed.

Meanwhile, a new face joins the judging panel with Diversity frontman Ashley Banjo signing up.
He joins Torvill & Dean and the returning Jason Gardiner.
