Not one, but two thrilling Hollyoaks comebacks this Christmas!

There's all sorts happening in the village this winter!

The new Hollyoaks Christmas trailer has landed – and it’s a good one! There are some surprising snogs, a few revelations, two unexpected proposals, and not one but two huge comebacks. Plus lots of Santa hats, and a sprinkling of glitter, natch.

Unaware that he’s the one who bumped off poor Amy, it looks like Ste’s going to be sharing some spit with former enemy Ryan.

They’re seen arguing (again!) until they lock eyes in a very meaningful moment. Will some smooching be the next step?

And while Ste’s off with Ryan, former squeeze Harry is getting cosy with James Nightingale once more.

James, though is also wrapped up with abusive Dad Mac. We see him vowing to stop him once and for all (go, James!) while Mac’s announcing to everyone in the Dog that he’s “going nowhere”.

Myra McQueen’s in for some festive romance as she’s locking lips with ex-husband, Sally!

And Lily Drinkwell and Luke Morgan both receive unexpected – and judging by their faces, not entirely welcome – proposals. #awks.

Luke’s Christmas isn’t shaping up to be a happy one, though. While he’s on a day out with Mandy, he spots Mark Gibbs. He’s the man who raped Luke almost 20 years ago. And now he’s back.

Horrified to see the man who destroyed his life, Luke legs it, leaving Mandy bewildered. But there’s more shocks in store as we later see Mark’s tracked poor Luke down and he turns up in his flat unannounced. How will Luke react?

And Mark Gibbs isn’t the only comeback this Christmas. Armstrong’s back! Yay! He’s been banged up for a while, but he’s on the phone to Milo from prison.

When Milo goes to visit, Armstrong tells him Cindy deserves to know the truth – and shows Milo an ID badge that reveals Armstrong knows his real name is Simon Jones. Ooh.

Later we see Armstrong in the village (looking, frankly, awesome in a Santa outfit) greeting a shocked Milo. Is his secret out?

And finally, there’s a death (of course – this is Hollyoaks, after all). We see Alfie Nightingale tucking into some chips and dropping them as he spots someone’s body lying on the ground.

But who’s the unlucky victim? And more importantly – who’s the killer?!
