There’s a pretty new face arriving in Coronation Street – and we have a feeling that she might prove VERY popular with the boys.
In tonight’s double bill (Friday 27 April), ITV viewers are introduced to Speed Daal’s new employee Kayla Westbrook.
Actress Mollie Winnard plays the lively waitress who is called in hurriedly to help out at Zeedan and Imran’s new restaurant.
She proves a hit in the restaurant – even if she is rather eccentric!

And she soon becomes involved in more than just serving food, when she walks in on Rana and Zeedan hugging and kissing – prompting her to ask a few questions about the nature of their relationship.
Zee ends up confiding in Kayla, telling her that he thinks his estranged wife still has feelings for him.
Speaking recently to RadioTimes.com about the new character, the show boss (at the time) Kate Oates teased: “She’ll be causing trouble for Bethany and Craig.”

Wait? A love triangle?
Prior to joining Coronation Street, 21-year-old actress Mollie Winnard appeared in the 2017 BBC1 drama Love, Lies and Records.
She’s also appeared in stage productions of the Little Shop of Horrors, Grease and The Nutcracker.
