Instead of EastEnders clashing with rival show Coronation Street, soap viewers will now be able to watch one after the other this evening.

Fans already know that EastEnders is proudly covering the topical subject of knife crime in a new storyline that will eventually see Shakil die from his injuries in Friday night’s episode.

Tonight’s episode will see the start of the storyline unfold as Keegan steals a bike – not knowing it is the property of a dangerous gang.

Shakil is shocked when he sees the gang have noticed the bike is missing and have already got a picture of Keegan stealing it on social media.

Little does he know, the dangerous gang are already in Walford.
