Margot played Donna Freedman in the Aussie soap from 2008 to 2011, and it quickly became clear that she was a highly regarded actress when she earned two Logie nominations for the role.

Despite her brief stint in Erinsborough, Margot’s time on the soap didn’t come without it’s dramas.

Her character, Donna, was always centre of the biggest storylines, before departing after her husband Ringo Brown was knocked down and killed by Steph Scully’s motorbike.

Margot has always held Neighbours in high regard – knowing it was the Australian soap that gave her the platform for her carer as it is today.

When asked by WHO if she would ever return to her roots and rejoin the show, Margot didn’t rule it out, despite now being a huge Hollywood actress…

“Yeah, I think I would, totally. We could get the whole gang back together. I’d be in.

‘I was 17 when I started on the job and I had just moved from the Gold Coast and didn’t know anyone in Melbourne. I had never lived on my own before and everyone just pretty much took me under their wing.’

The actress then added that she learned some of life’s most valuable skills from her friends at Neighbours…
