Love Island’s Dr Alex George could FINALLY find romance when newcomers Ellie Brown and Zara McDermott enter the villa on Sunday night.
Ellie, a 20-year-old business development manager from Newcastle has admitted she’s already “in love” with A&E doctor Alex despite having never met him!
And Zara, a 21-year-old government adviser from Essex, also has her eye on the hunky medic…
Alex, 27, hasn’t had the easiest time in the villa having been friend-zoned by coupled up partner Samira Mighty and losing Megan Barton Hanson to Eyal Booker.
But could Ellie or Zara change his luck?!

Ahead of entering the villa, Zara said: “I’m in love with Alex! I absolutely love him.”
Ellie continued: “I don’t have a type. My two ex boyfriends are so polar opposite, it’s unreal. One was muscly, tall. The other was not much taller than me and a bit older. I’m not looking for anything specific.
“If they make me happy, they’re for me, and if they don’t, they’re not for me.”
The Love Islanders don’t get to choose their own date activities, but if Alex did want to whisk Ellie off her feet, there’s one way to do it!
Describing her perfect date, she said: “I’ve got a dream – in Mykonos they have cliffs with pool Jacuzzis hanging off them. I’d like that, with a big bowl of fruit and champagne. That would be my perfect date. I think about that all the time.”
On the flipside, Ellie said she doesn’t like “arrogance, cockiness and bragging” so any islander who does that will not be getting anywhere with her!
“If you’ve got to brag and boast about it, you probably haven’t got it,” she said. “If you have it and work hard for it, people will probably just know about it.”
As for what makes her stand out against the other islanders, Ellie said: “I’m a Geordie – us Northeners have a lot of banter. It’s all been quite dramatic so far in the villa.
“I’ll stand out because I can bring some light hearted, fun, energy. I’m not a hard person to get on with. I could talk to a piece of paper if it would speak back. I’m a cheeky Geordie with loads of energy.”
However, Ellie also admitted with that fun and energy comes a fiery side, and she can be “short-tempered” in some situations.
“I haven’t got the ability to look past a situation when I’m in it. If somebody annoys me in that moment, I get very emotional. I say things that I will probably regret saying,” she confessed.
“Sometimes people think you have to be the bigger person and walk away, but I’m not good at that.
“I might say things that come across quite harsh but it’s all from a good place – it’s because I care and I get emotional about it. I’m going to try and not have any kick offs.”
Ellie will enter the villa on Sunday night alongside fellow newcomer Zara, who has also admitted to having her eye on Dr Alex, although she could be swayed by Adam Collard as well…
She said: “I want to meet someone I can vibe and connect with. Someone who can keep me on my toes. I really like Adam, he’s very attractive.
“In terms of longevity though, Alex has a lot of potential. But I need to get know him more though – I don’t think we’ve seen how fun he can be. Maybe I can bring that out in him!”

Zara added: “I’m intelligent, which means I’m quite good at reading people. I’m always analysing people.”
“I fall in love really quickly, which makes me quite serious,” she continued. “I think that if I like someone, I will go for them 100%. That might not be attractive to everyone.”
