Love Island star Adam Collard’s friend has put an end to speculation about the islander’s age.
Gym owner Adam gave his age as 22 years old when he entered the villa, which surprised other contestants who thought he came across as more mature and older than that.
Viewers were also stunned, with many refusing to accept Adam is so young.
Plenty have taken to Twitter since Love Island started to insist Adam must be telling porkies as he doesn’t come across as a 22-year-old (whatever they’re meant to come across as…)

Well, now Adam’s pal and former Love Island contestant, Chris Williamson, has ended the debate by confirming Adam is indeed telling the truth!
Chris told Chronicle Live: “I can 100% confirm that Adam is 22!”
He added: “I get why people would think he’s older as just the whole way he carries himself is not what you’d expect from a 22 year old.”

Meanwhile, over at Daily Mail, they’ve got their hands on a copy of Adam’s birth certificate, which shows Adam was born in Newcastle on October 26, 1995.
So, mystery solved!
Adam’s not the only Love Islander raising eyebrows when it comes to age, however, as former cabin crew member Laura Anderson has also accused of shaving a few years off.
Laura gave her age as 29 years old when she arrived at the villa, but some viewers thought she was actually older after photos surfaced on social media showing her celebrating a 30th birthday two years ago.
However, it’s now been revealed the birthday in question wasn’t actually Laura’s, and she was celebrating her own 27th birthday at the event, making her 29 as she says.
Daily Mail also unearthed a copy of her birth certificate which confirms she is 29 years old.
The birth certificate reveals Laura was born on April 23, 1989.

Whose age will be questioned next?!
Meanwhile, there is major drama brewing in the Love Island villa, with a teaser for Tuesday night’s episode suggesting problems between Adam and partner Rosie Williams.
Love Island narrator Iain Stirling teased: “Is someone hiding a secret?”
Viewers then saw Rosie confronting Adam in front of everyone, asking him: “Do you want to say something about what happened today that maybe you should have had the balls to tell me before?”
Rosie added: “Everyone else knows. You might as well share. The group is waiting.”
She was then seen in tears asking: “I don’t get why I’m not enough for someone.”
Love Island airs 9pm on ITV2.
