Loose Women star opens up about how she managed to drop three dress sizes

What a fantastic Christmas present!

Most people will indulge themselves over the Christmas period, knowing they can work off the excess weight in the New Year.

But for Linda Robson, the hard work has already been done. The Loose Women star, 59, has revealed that she’s dropped THREE dress sizes in the past 12 months.

And she claims she managed to achieve the amazing weight loss by cutting just a few key things out of her diet…

The Birds Of A Feather actress estimates that she’s lost about two and a half stone altogether, taking her from a 16-18 dress size down to a 12-14.

And she reckons her new svelte figure is all down to a few small(ish) sacrifices.

She told The Sun Online: “I’ve just been really healthy. I’ve cut out all the sugars, all the sauces. I’ve made myself like salmon – I love fish now.”

Linda also cut out the booze earlier this year – and that proved slightly more problematic for the London-born star.

Back in January, the mum-of-three told the Daily Star Sunday: “When it got to 10pm, it was a little bit like being a heroin addict, because there was something missing.

“I shouldn’t compare it to that, because obviously it’s not the same. But I’m in the habit of getting to 10pm and having a couple of spritzers.”

Linda also insists that she won’t be tempted to stuff her face with chocolates and cakes over the festive period.

She told The Sun Online: “I haven’t got a sweet tooth, so none of that interests me.

“I never have dessert or anything like that. I’d rather have a cheeseboard – I’m more savoury.”

Earlier this week, Linda – who’s married to Mark Dunford – revealed that she leaves the bathroom door open while she’s taking a dip, allowing her grown-up kids to wander in and out as they please.

She told Loose Women: “I think it’s important that they see what real women look like.”

Well, having lost all that weight, no wonder she’s happy for people to see her in the buff!
