Linda Robson reveals unusual start to 27-year marriage on Loose Women

It made the audience gasp

| Updated:

Loose Women panelist Linda Robson made jaws drop when she recounted the tale of how she met her husband as a teenager.

The ladies were talking about whether they believe in fate, and Linda said that she believes her husband Mark Dunford was always the one for her and they were destined to meet.

As cute as that sounds, the way they got to know each other is a little unusual and had the audience ‘oohing’.

Linda told her fellow panellists Andrea McLean, Kaye Adams and Jane Moore that she used to babysit Mark when he was 13 years old! Cue the audience gasping.

She explained: “He’s a couple of years younger than me – two and a half years younger!

“I was 16 and he was 13 and he was bit of a pain in the butt to be honest.

“We lived in the streets next to each other and one day when [daughter] Lauren was about three I took her to the park and he was there and he gave us a lift home.

“Then he asked me out on a date. But that was fate that day cause I’d known him all my life but I’d never seen him in that way.”

Linda and Mark have been together for 27 years, married for 26, so it seems they were indeed meant to be!

Linda isn’t the only one who has been revealing all to the Loose Women, as panellist Katie Price gave an in-depth account of the reasons she is divorcing third husband Kieran Hayler.

Katie, who looked visibly distraught, explained that Kieran had admitted to cheating on her again, this time with the kids’ nanny, though the nanny herself denies the claims.

She said Kieran has a sex addiction and needs treatment. She admitted: “I’m shocked. Kieran is absolutely devastated and I’m like ‘well you’ve done this to me’. He does have an addiction, he does.

“I love him, I go home and it’s confusing, he’s hurt me once and I don’t deserve to get hurt. But I feel sorry for him.”
