Johnny Connor discovers Aidan’s will secret in Coronation Street

The grieving dad unearths a secret that his family have been hiding

Tonight’s visit to Weatherfield sees grieving dad Johnny Connor make the shocking discovery that Aidan has left Underworld to Alya in his will.

The news that Aidan left his factory to his business partner before taking his own life has been common knowledge to the rest of the Connors and also Corrie fans for weeks.

But Johnny has so far remained in the dark about the news.

Tonight viewers will see Johnny already at a low point when he lashes out at Jenny when she accidentally spills coffee on the suit he has picked out for Aidan’s burial.

He angrily tells her she isn’t welcome to join him as he heads to the chapel of rest to say his final goodbyes to his son.

But she is set to be left devastated when she catches Johnny then getting into a cab to the chapel with none other than Liz McDonald.

But coffee on suits is the least of Johnny’s worries when he later finds out his whole family have been hiding a huge secret about his son from him.

It’s only when Alya approaches the Connors in the street with lawyer Imran in tow that the penny drops for Johnny.

He is furious that his family have been keeping something so important about Aidan from him, and once again it is Jenny who gets it in the neck.

Not only does he ban her from the funeral entirely, but he also goes to see Liz again for a shoulder to cry on.

But this time Johnny is a little worse for wear after drinking to drown his sorrows and things go a little further than some friendly chat.

It doesn’t take long for the pair to be kissing passionately, but what is Jenny going to say when she finds out?

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
