Jamie Lomas’s Emmerdale star sister shares heartfelt message after his devastating blow

She's got her brother's back...

Ever since her brother Jamie Lomas entered the I’m A Celebrity jungle last month, Emmerdale star Charley Webb has been glued to her telly.

So she witnessed every moment of Monday night’s drama, which saw the Hollyoaks hunk miss out on reading an email from his family following the code-breaking task.

And Charley, 29, later took to Twitter to express her heartbreak over the episode.

Jamie, 42, has two kids – Billy, 11, from his former girlfriend Haley Lever, and Polly, six, whose mother is Jamie’s ex-wife, Corrie star Kym Marsh.

And Charley – who also has two children with her partner and Emmerdale co-star Matthew Wolfenden – was in no doubt that her sibling would be gutted not to see the email.

She tweeted: “Feel so sad for Jamie. It was a lovely letter from us all, with beautiful messages from his children. He’ll be happy for everyone else getting theirs. Xxx”

Charley, who plays Debbie Dingle on the ITV soap, has been pretty outspoken on social media since I’m A Celebrity started.

And shortly after sending her condolences to Jamie, she gave both barrels to Joe Swash, claiming the I’m A Celebrity: Extra Camp presenter has been overly critical of her brother.

She wrote: “Wow, @realjoeswash has really got it in for Jamie, can’t help but keep slagging him off.

“I think Jamie actually handled not getting his letter really well. Mustn’t be watching the same show X.”

Well, if Jamie is missing his family, we’re sure the feeling is mutual – but Kym Marsh insists that six-year-old Polly doesn’t hold it against her dad for being away for so long.

The actress, 41, said in her OK! column last month: “Polly is so proud of her daddy being in it.

“Some assume there’s some kind of bitterness between [Jamie and I], but that’s really not the case. We have a good relationship, and our main priority is Polly.”

The six-year-old was rushed to hospital last week after coming down with the viral infection croup, though thankfully she appears to have recovered now.

According to reports, Jamie has not yet been informed of the incident.
