I’m A Celeb’s ladies issued VERY gross warning

This is just disgusting

You’d be forgiven for thinking the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle shower exists purely to allow the ladies of camp to model various bikinis.

But the camp staple is not just there to guarantee plenty of exposure and headlines.

In a (gross) new interview, Medic Bob has been reminding everyone just why the jungle shower is so important – and it’s not just to keep the celebrities smelling fresh.

It turns out the ladies with a larger chest – and specifically, those with breast implants – are in danger of contracting a nasty fungal disease if they don’t wash properly.

Yuck.

Medic Bob explained to The Sun: “The biggest problem I have with people with large breast implants is that because of the humidity in the jungle, fungus grows quickly on skin.

“And with big breast implants, if they are rubbing on their chest and the women doesn’t clean under their breasts they can get a fungal disease.

“They do need to use the jungle shower a lot, I tell them to keep clean and wash every day, twice a day, and some don’t.

“They get lazy.”

It’s not the first time Medic Bob’s had to issue a warning about cleanliness; last year he appeared on I’m A Celebrity spinoff Extra Camp to divulge the same words of wisdom.

He said at the time: “Most people think of fungus as mushrooms, but we have problems with the cast every year – especially women growing fungus on certain body parts.

“I’ve been instructing them to use the shower a little bit more often.”

This year’s celebs have no excuse not to be squeaky clean, given producers have introduced a second form of bathing to camp.

Not only will the campers get to use the traditional jungle shower, a bath has also been installed in Croc Creek.

The show’s producer Oliver Nash told The Sun: “The bath is an exciting new luxury that will probably be popular with some of the more image conscious so they can get really clean.”

It’s also reportedly hoped the bath will encourage jungle romance to develop, as it’s big enough for two and requires two people to pump the hot water.

Sneaky!

Bosses have also installed another new feature designed to encourage closeness: a swinging love seat.

Oliver told The Mirror: “It would be nice for a couple to sit in and we have some good potential couples coming our way. It was well used in the dry runs when we tested it out.

“There absolutely could be romance with our cast this year, there are a lot of very good looking people.

“The potential for romance is higher than ever.”

There are five single celebs among this year’s campers: ex Hollyoaks star Jamie Lomas, The Saturdays singer Vanessa White, YouTuber Jack Maynard, comedian Shappi Khorsandi and Made In Chelsea star Georgia Toffolo.

Will we see another Katie and Pete emerge?

Only time will tell!
