After weeks of speculation, bosses at I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! have FINALLY confirmed a brand new panel for spinoff show Extra Camp.

As widely reported, it’s goodbye to Vicky Pattison, Stacey Solomon and Chris Ramsey, as they’re making way for two new arrivals.

Well, we say new… they’re actually two very familiar faces to jungle fans.

Yup, as rumoured for quite a while, former Queen of the Jungle Scarlett Moffatt will be heading back to Australia to join Extra Camp stalwart Joe Swash on the companion show.

They’ll be joined by another former I’m A Celebrity camper, comedian Joel Dommett.

Needless to say both Scarlett and Joel are over the moon at a) landing plummy presenting jobs and b) getting to spend the cold winter months living it up in the Australian sunshine!

Ex Gogglebox star Scarlett said: “After last year’s jungle experience, which was a dream come true, I can’t believe I’m so lucky to have the dream continue by being part of this amazing show and joining the ITV2 Extra Camp team.

“It’s going to be so much fun!”

Joel had similar sentiments, gushing: “I’m unbelievably excited to be going back into the jungle for Extra Camp. Ever since I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here got me out of there, I’ve been wanting desperately to get back in there.

“I can’t blooming wait!”

Now, it’s not exactly groundbreaking news for fans of I’m A Celeb, as both Scarlett and Joel had been widely reported as the frontrunners to replace Vicky and Stacey.

Scarlett was actually linked to the show back in April, with sources saying bosses had her ear-marked as the perfect replacement for fellow Geordie Vicky.

An insider told The Mirror: “Vicky’s really charismatic but Scarlett’s appeal is broader and she’s proved what a natural she is in front of the cameras

“She also complements Ant and Dec.”

Joel, meanwhile, was linked to the companion show last week, with sources saying I’m A Celeb bosses loved the rapport between him and Scarlett in last year’s jungle.

“They’re a naturally funny pair together, so the risk should pay off,” a source told The Sun.

While it’s fab news for Scarlett and Joel, it’s sad news for fans of Vicky, Stacey and Chris.

Vicky and Chris announced via social media earlier this year that they wouldn’t be returning, while Stacey was apparently given the chop when producers decided to revamp the show.

She spoke out this week about her axe from Extra Camp, admitting she’d miss the series but was excited to be watching from home.

I’ll definitely miss it loads, but I’m so excited,” she told OK! magazine.

“I love watching it from the comfort of my own home, so I can’t wait to see what the show brings. Every year they do something different, so it is really nice.”

It means Stacey and boyfriend Joe will be separated for quite some time, as she’ll be home in the UK while he jets to Oz for filming.

There had been rumours Joe’s position on the show was also in jeopardy, but today’s announcement from I’m A Celebrity assures fans he’ll definitely be back.

Confirming his return, Joe said: “I’m A Celebrity is always one of my favourite times of the year, I can’t wait to find out who is going in this year.”

You and us both, Joe!
